At Class One Orthodontics, your safety is our first priority. Please review our COVID-19 Safety Measures for Employees and Patients:

We follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We also follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Some changes are made accordingly to safeguard our patients and staff from Covid-19, you may see them in your next visit:

  • Personal Protective Equipment: Face Shields/Disposable Gowns will be used to protect from aerosol communication, as well as N-95 masks and eye protection. A sneeze guard will also be there at the front desk.

  • Air Purification: To increase airflow and remove any possible aerosols by killing viral particles, advanced air filtration systems are positioned throughout the office.

  • Social Distancing: Appointments will be given by taking care of your waiting time by allowing greater time between patients, it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area. Also, everything will be managed according to the social distancing norms between the patients.

  • Face Covering/Masks: Please carry your own personal masks/face coverings from home as it needs to be worn by anyone entering the office.

  • Oral Hygiene: Patients are advised to brush their teeth at home prior to their appointment because they will not be able to brush in the office to limit any potential aerosol. Instead, to significantly reduce any present virus in their mouths, patients will rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide (Peroxyl) prior to being seen.

  • Temperature Checks: A touchless thermometer will be used to check the temperature of the patients before they are seen by the doctor.

  • Please contact the office so we can reschedule your appointment if you or someone you have been in close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing ANY flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, etc.). In many cases, we can conduct a virtual appointment via FaceTime/Skype instead so there would be no interruption in your Invisalign treatment until you are healthy to come to see us again in our office.

If you have any questions regarding these new protocols (or would like to postpone your appointment) please do call, text or email us - we are here to help!
